Bowburn War Memorial

The Bowburn War Memorial was dedicated on the 50^th Anniversary of VE Day, 8^th May 1995. It stands near the entrance to Prince Charles Avenue from the Durham Road (A177).

On Remembrance Sunday, every year, a short service is held there in memory of all who fell in war to give us peace.
