To those who fell in war…

Bowburn War Memorial

The Bowburn War Memorial was dedicated on the 50th Anniversary of VE Day, 8th May 1995. It stands near the entrance to Prince Charles Avenue from the Durham Road (A177).

On Remembrance Sunday, every year, a short service is held there in memory of all who fell in war to give us peace.
